Philosophy
The automotive industry today expects quality in several dimensions from its suppliers. Not only product quality, but also deadline reliability, costs optimisation and flexible delivery capabilities are important essentials.

Our goal is to meet these requirements in every respect. We see our suppliers as partners who, just as ourselves, are willing and able to optimise their processes and products whenever the opportunity arises. The selection of our suppliers and joint further development are a part of our corporate strategy.

Cooperation
A clear contractual agreement is a matter of course. But what really counts is the cooperation practised day to day. This begins with involvement at an early stage in the development of new components and extends to cooperation in value analysis teams. This all happens within the framework of an actively supporting supplier management. If needed, we also provide technical help for process optimisation.

Partnership
The relationships to our suppliers are geared to cooperation and product continuity. This is the best prerequisite for further development and improvement. We decide for single sourcing for reasons of efficiency, costs and quality. In this partnership framework, we have no need for unproductive price discussions with our suppliers and instead use open costs analyses oriented to our mutual interests.

Prerequisites
From our strategically important suppliers we expect willingness to intensive and frank cooperation, development competence, customer orientation and modern quality management systems designed to give zero error results. Based on a shared quality understanding, we conclude a quality securement agreement (QSA) with our suppliers. Effective project management, manufacturing management organisation, logistics and efficient IT systems networking are essential prerequisites.
