Even discrepancies of a few microns can affect the efficiency or energy consumption of a pump. Aiming for highest precision necessitates extensive in-house know-how within the areas of metal working, pump technology and process formation.

Of the millions of pumps we produce year by year each and every one must meet the stipulated performance and quality levels, which means we meticulously inspect our manufacturing equipment, our processes and - last but not least - the output from our production.

ixetic has implemented a comprehensive quality management approach, encompassing all procedures, which is an inherent part of the operating process (FMEA, DOE, serial processes, APQP etc.) for each employee. Best in class principles apply throughout production, whereby high-precision equipment plays a decisive role in machining accurately down to a micron.

We achieve the set quality goals supported by complex, scientifically proven test processes using high-precision functional as well as endurance test-rigs in addition to an acoustic laboratory. Thanks to an integrated change management process we can, nevertheless, offer our customers a great deal of flexibility.

ixetic is one of the few automotive suppliers in Europe to be KAIZEN certified. Furthermore, the president of the KAIZEN institute conferred the "Best in class" award on the Bad Homburg plant, which hence complies with the 5S programme in all areas of operations proving that a permanent optimisation process is reliably implemented.
