Welcome at ixetic

ixetic has successfully started as an independent company. In March 2006 the Schaeffler group sold its business areas LuK Fahrzeug-Hydraulik (vehicle-hydraulics) and LuK Automobil-Technik (automobile-technologies). The transaction took place for strategic reasons: The LuK GmbH & Co. OHG has now specified its profile as a provider for the drive train. Thereby an independent company has been created, which started off as one of the leading manufacturers for hydraulic and vacuum pumps as well as air-conditioning compressors in the automobile industry. There are currently 1.200 employees working for ixetic, which meets first class technology, quality and delivery standards.

The leading paneuropean investor cognetas (www.cognetas.com), formerly Electra Partners Europe, is now the new owner.

Bad Homburg (GER), Hückeswagen (GER), Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and Brunswick (USA) are the current locations of ixetic. In 2007 a representation has been opened in Yokohama (Japan).

The company is a supplying partner for numerous acknowledged automotive manufacturers of passenger and commercial vehicles and sets standards in technology, quality and delivery reliability worldwide.
